The Lemoine Co. starts construction of medical office building

Text size: A A

The Lemoine Co. LLC of Lafayette, La., has begun construction of a medical office building for Landmark Healthcare Facilities at the new Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center campus in Lafayette.

The project involves the construction of a four-story 100,000-sq-ft MOB shell and core on the new campus of Our Lady of Lourdes Replacement Hospital.

The project anticipates having at least 90 percent of the building interior work being awarded and completed within the 12-month duration via changeorder based upon unit prices provided at the time of bid.

Once fully developed, the project would include the addition of proton beam diagnostics and treatment facility which would be only one of a few of its kind in the United States.

Ultimately, the facility will serve to house many of the offices of the doctors practicing at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, as well as many of its administrative personnel.
