Top Building Projects

Big jobs indicate improving market

South Central Construction is pleased to present its first Top Building Projects, which ranks building projects under construction by contract cost.

To accurately reflect the diversity of the region's construction market, Top 5 rankings are provided for each state, including Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Sources used during the research phase for the list include McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge, various government agencies and back issues of South Central Construction. Every effort was made to obtain accurate and complete project information, including verification with both project owners and general contractors.

Please note that the following projects are under construction as of this publication date. There may be some sizable active projects not included in the list that were completed earlier in the year or will break ground after July.

Projects that begin construction after July are eligible for next year's list, should they qualify.
