Design-build service road bridge contract given to Memphis architect

Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon Inc. of Memphis, Tenn., along with Ray Bell Construction of Brentwood Tenn., was recently awarded the design-build contract for the Winchester Service Road Bridge at the Memphis International Airport.

The two-lane bridge will be a 134-ft., single span across the heavily traveled, eight-lane Winchester Road, and will support emergency and service vehicle traffic.

Founded in 1970, Ray Bell Construction Co. is a privately owned business.

Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon is an employee-owned engineering, architecture, planning, landscape architecture and surveying firm with offices in Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio, Georgia and Kentucky.
