White Construction Co. receives ABC award

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today announced that White Construction Company’s (WCC) work on the Mississippi State University, Riley Education and Performing Arts Center in Meridian, Miss. and the work on Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas in Austin, Texas, has earned WCC two Excellence in Construction Awards

WCC’s representative’s received these awards June 18, 2008 during the 18th annual Excellence in Construction Awards celebration at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

Mississippi State University, Riley Education and Performing Arts Center earned the company first place in the Historical Restoration - $10 - million - $99 -million category of ABC’s Excellence in Construction Awards.

Dell Children’s Medical Center earned the company first place in the Mega-Projects - Over $100-million category. In addition, WCC was one of the select Eagle Award winners chosen to receive ABC’s Greener Tomorrow Award for building one of the top LEED certified projects in 2007.
