Arkansas Precast acquisition to complement existing facilities

Gate Petroleum Co. recently announced the acquisition of two architectural precast concrete manufacturing facilities from Arkansas Precast, located in Jacksonville, Ark., and Hillsboro, Texas.

The acquisition of these plants will complement existing manufacturing facilities and allow Gate to better serve its marketing area, which includes all of the eastern U. S. as well as a major portion of the Southwest and Midwest U.S. markets.

Engineering News-Record (ENR) recently ranked Gate Construction Materials Group in the top 10% of all specialty contractors in the U.S. in regard to sales volume. The acquisition of these two plants will push Gate Construction Materials Group’s revenue to more than $300 million annually.

The Construction Materials Group of Gate Petroleum Co. now operates 10 manufacturing plants.
