Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced recently that it received a contract from the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons to provide construction management services for the new medium security Federal Correctional Institution in Aliceville, Ala.

Officials did not disclose the contract value, yet estimated the construction value at more than $130 million.
