Ray Bell Construction opens Gulf Shores office

Ray Bell Construction Company Inc. of Brentwood, Tenn., has announced the opening of a new satellite office in Gulf Shores, Ala. The contractor currently has three projects under construction in the Gulf Shores area.

RBCC is building Lewiston Hall in Foley, Ala., a 52-unit residential facility, that will be completed this summer. Construction is also underway on The Wharf, an all-inclusive, mixed-use development; and Opal Condominiums, a 14-story luxury beachfront condominium.

"With our headquarters located just outside of Nashville, we feel opening an office further south will help us better serve our clients throughout the southeast region," said Keith Pyle, RBCC president and chief operating officer.

The new office is located at 214-B Professional Court in Gulf Shores.

RBCC performs commercial, residential, industrial and correctional facility construction.

Golden & Associates completes Birmingham insurance office

Golden & Associates Construction LLC of Birmingham, Ala., recently completed the $3 million renovation of Infinity Insurance Company's new office space in Birmingham.

In only 120 days, the contractor renovated approximately 140,000 sq. ft. of office space spanning across six floors. The project was completed in May.

Golden & Associates also partnered with Infinity to build the insurance company's 85,000-sq.-ft. storage warehouse. The $3.1 million facility includes 51,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space, 27,500 sq. ft. of temperature controlled printing space and 6,500 sq. ft. of office space.

Golden & Associates worked closely with Infinity to coordinate the two jobs so Infinity could move their offices and storage at the same time.

"Golden & Associates brought a team together and did a fabulous job in choosing the appropriate subcontractors to meet our deadlines," said Kevin Ritchey, Infinity Insurance's leasing and property manager. "They were conscious of our budget and the staff did everything to make this project as easy as possible for us."

Golden & Associates also recently completed the new headquarters for Alabama Independent Insurance Agents at Lakeshore Crossings in Homewood. The 10,000-sq.-ft. building includes a state of the art classroom that will allow training for up to 150 insurance agents.
