Top South Central Construction Projects

Ranking gives construction market pulse check

South Central Construction is pleased to present its inaugural "Top South Central Construction Projects," which ranks projects breaking ground in 2004 by construction cost.

Individual Top 5 rankings were created for Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee, and a separate Top 20 list ranks projects across the entire region.

Sources used to create the ranking include McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge, various economic development agencies and back issues of Engineering News-Record and South Central Construction. Every effort was made to obtain accurate and complete project information, and the information was verified with project owners and contractors.

Please note that the following projects began their construction phase in 2004. Therefore, there may be some sizable active projects that are not included in the list.
Projects that begin construction this year will be included in next year's list, should they qualify.
