Smith Engineering purchased by Pickering

Pickering Inc., a Memphis-based engineering firm, has acquired Smith Engineering of Southaven, Miss.

Smith, a 30-year-old civil engineering, surveying and re-zoning firm, has clients in northern Mississippi, eastern Arkansas and west Tennessee.

Pickering, founded in 1946, has branch offices in DeSoto County, Jackson, Brookhaven and Pearl.
